Darianna, 2024
In April of this year, I had the privilege of returning to the motherland, the Dominican Republic. This time, I visited Samaná, a place as breathtaking as it is spiritually grounding. I traveled with my cousin—my true sister—Darianna, and together we shared deeply intimate moments that deepened our bond. Throughout the trip, fabric and water became essential elements in our creative process. We used fabric to explore softness, strength, and the ever-shifting shape of womanhood; water mirrored that same fluidity; symbolizing release, renewal, and the ongoing flow of life. These images are the result of that exchange. A visual meditation on connection, creativity, and becoming.

Step into the ethereal realm with Brianda, where the boundaries between the mundane and the extraordinary blur. "Corporate Reverie: Illuminated Liminality" invites you to embark on a visual journey through an otherworldly office space, where the glow of fluorescent lights transforms the familiar into the surreal.
Creating a liminal space-inspired photoshoot with office lights can be a fascinating and creative endeavor. Liminal spaces are those that exist on the threshold between two states, often evoking a sense of transition or in-betweenness.
Here, I photographed, directed and styled Brianda. It was such a dope experience being able to execute a captivating liminal space photoshoot where perfection is non existent.

AFUERA Y ADENTRO is a visual and written reflection on the heartbreak of releasing the greatest love of your life, while still loving them. It’s about choosing yourself, even when your heart still lingers. Featuring black & white images and raw, personal passages, the work explores the tension between holding on and letting go, love and harm, presence and absence. It’s a farewell rooted in grace, clarity, and quiet strength.

SELF PORTRAITS
Self-portraiture is where my photography becomes most personal—an intimate practice of reflection, healing, and reclaiming space. I wanted so badly to be seen that I had to first see myself for who I truly was. Through these images, I step both behind and in front of the lens to explore identity, vulnerability, and transformation. It’s not about perfection, it’s about presence. Each frame becomes a dialogue with myself, rooted in emotion, memory, and the complexity of womanhood.
