Illuminated_Liminality, 2023
Step into the ethereal realm with Brianda, where the boundaries between the mundane and the extraordinary blur. "Corporate Reverie: Illuminated Liminality" invites you to embark on a visual journey through an otherworldly office space, where the glow of fluorescent lights transforms the familiar into the surreal.
Creating a liminal space-inspired photoshoot with office lights can be a fascinating and creative endeavor. Liminal spaces are those that exist on the threshold between two states, often evoking a sense of transition or in-betweenness.
Here, I photographed, directed and styled Brianda. It was such a dope experience being able to execute a captivating liminal space photoshoot where perfection is non existent.

DJ Bembona is a vibrant force in the world of music, known for her electrifying DJ sets. Through my lens, I captured the essence of her surroundings with a bold use of bright colors and primary hues. Each photograph pulsates with energy, immersing viewers in a vivid kaleidoscope of life.

donSMITH, the Harlem rapper, is not just a lyrical visionary but an over all creative. In a unique collaboration, I had the privilege of capturing don in a series of intimate black and white photographs, set within the comfort of a home environment. These images reveal a side of the artist that transcends the stage, offering a glimpse into his authentic self.

SOLAR radiates a powerful aura of Black Girl Sorcery. I had the privilege of capturing her essence in a series of images that celebrate strength and beauty. Each frame encapsulates the confidence and grace with which SOLAR carries herself, embodying a spirit that transcends boundaries.
The photographs are a testament to the unapologetic pride and beauty of Black womanhood. Through this collection, I aimed to honor and amplify the poetry that resides within her, and every other Black woman, as a reminder of their boundless potential and unwavering grace.
